Default bug splats...best way to remove?

l just drove up from SF up to Sac the other night, & drove through what felt like a swarm of locusts...well more like gnats really. anyway, l got pelted w/ hundreds of insect splats on my front windshield, hood, & bumper...

l didnt get a chance to wash off the crud immediately, so it got a chance to bake under the 106-plus heat Sac's had lately, so it caked on pretty good

what's the best, most effective, & safest (given the scion paint's notorious weaknesses) way to wash that gunk off??

I just saw a new product from Stoner's and can not remember the exact name. Something like bugsoff or taroff or some catchy phrase. If the product is anywhere near as good as Stoner's Invisible Glass it should work well. I believe I saw it at Target.

Now that you've used that stuff, put another coat of wax back on the car. Almost all of those bug and Tar Removers strip the wax off.

I used the turtle wax bug and tar remover on my old Cavalier before I traded it in, it was a bright yellow car and had black bug and tar spots all over the front.

After scrubbing with soap and water, then orange cleaner I went and bought some of that stuff.. took it right off.. the paint still shined so I didn't bother waxing it.. But that'd probably be a good idea to do also..
