Default First detailing..what should I do?

This will be the first time to do more than wash my xA. I've had it since august. Should I just wax or clay/polish/wax?

I'm afraid to polish as I don't want to strip away any clearcoat.

Duno i will do it today because we have first scion car show in KC.........i will wash my car and i bough a bottle for 7$ at wallmart "spray wet & dry" u spray on the car while is wet .....then u take a clean cloth and wipe it off ........car will shine .........for resoults ? i will tell ya later ........btw? i woudn't buy cheap wax like turbo wax or so .......i did that 1 time to my car .......it said to let car dry for 5 minutes ......i did as direction show.........it took me for about an 45 min to take that sh** off and the car is just as washed.......the only good thing about it was ......that when it starts to rain........i saw less watter on my car....... ..............
