Default flood damage

We had some pretty nasty storms up here over the weekend and I ended up drivin through about 8" of water for a block or so.
I just wanted to know if there are any precautions i should take to make sure everything is alright. I heard some squeaking after I had gone through but that stopped almost right away so I assumed that it was the breaks. Everything seems to be alright but I would just like to make sure there isnt anything special I should do.

The only thing you should keep an eye on is that your box is still running. As long as you didnt take any water into the intake, you should be fine.

After going through that much water, you should apply your brakes. Do this lightly a couple of times to get the water off the rotors and drums. Heat them up a little bit.

Best thing to do is not go through standing water like that. Unless you like taking your life into your own hands. And then, you risk the lives of those whos job it is to save lost souls like you. JUST DONT DO IT.

I personally enjoy having my life in my own hands...shouldn't yours be too?

driving through water like that is way more dangerous than it may seem at the time. a very common occurance is for someone to "brave it" then stall their car in the water only to find that the water hasn't stopped rising. then they're really stuck.
