Default Free life time of oilchanges?

Did anyone else get a free life time full of oilchanges for their cars? I was just wondering if most people recieve that or just the dealership I went to that was giving it out.

We don't make money on oil changes anyways. We almost might aswell give them away for free. The reason they give those is away is to prevent potential major future problems, so that they can spot issues before hand and address them with you. Thats all oil changes are for anyways, getting people in the door.
I used to work at an Acura dealership.

I got 'em too. It's a dealer thing. I still get the 3 free from Scion that I can use at any dealer.

Sux because I'm buying a house 30 miles from my dealer, or any other reason to get down here. I won't be using them.

That & their schedule is made for the unemployed. I'll be damned if I'm going to take time off from work just for a $10 oil change.

One Toyota dealership out by me supports the free lifetime
of the warranty oil changes, but they were too creepy for
me to buy a car from there. Totally the greasy salesperson
thing, and I high tailed it out of there!

I do my own oil changes, use Mobile 1, I'll deal with it.

i still do my own oil changes for my truck. its really easy and you get that (deep voice) "I'm a Man." feeling.

not sure about my tC yet though, since its low already i dont think it fits on my ramps. my brothers integra doesn't fit and he has to use the jacks which is a total pain in the butt.

I'm not the handiest handyman in the world. However, with some scrap boards and a couple of bolts I was able to modify my ramps to accept both the xB and TheWife's Cougar. Funny, when it was only the Cougar - I couldn't get around to the mod. Now that my car needed help getting on the ramps - DoneDeal

Re-read my post.

At the top I say "I still get the 3 free from Scion that I can use at any dealer".

Those are the only ones I can get for free at any dealer.

The lifetime freebies are offered by the DEALER that I bought the car from...therefore only redeemable at the DEALER I bought the car from.

I got them from my dealer. Still only at 800 miles after nearly 2 months so haven't done the first yet.
