that's just like "tighten nuts and bolts on chassis"...
there are no `real` nuts and bolts they need to tighten... millions of cars go without that kind of care...

Shang - what's your question? Are you asking what kind of oil to use? Are you asking what the oil is?
The manual will tell you the range the oil should be (75w-90 or something). The oil is essentially your transmission oil.
Might check the lug nuts. I once had a rattle develop in the front left of a nearly new Ford Ranger. One of the lug nuts had backed off completely. I had a truck deposit a rim and tire in my yard as he passed one time. A very shook up felow.

Capacities should be in the manual, right? Fill-to-spill is a good rule of thumb, just make sure the car is level.
It's a front wheel drive car.
We have transaxles, which means that, with the manual at least, the differential and transmission are in the same case, it's like one piece. Differentials and manual transmissions both use gear oil. You can find it at any auto supply store.

Actually I was planning on doing this sometime this week so I might as well ask now...What viscosity should we use? whats the capicity? And where is the fill plug?...on the Manual tranny of course. Thanks in advance!
