Default Good Car Alarm?

Just wondering what car alarms you guys are running and what are some real good alarms out there. I currently do not have an alarm and don't know any good brand name one's. I've known friends/family that have had an alarm on, with bad experiences.

Currently looking at CompuStar. Are they decent in your opinion?

PS I have lojack installed and use the brake lock on my clutch

IMHO... don't waste your time or money on an alarm for it. Those that are looking to steal cars really don't give a F*** about an alarm, back when car alarms were fairly new, people paid attention to one going off...but now days with it being so common, hardly anyone pays attention to one going off. And if someone really wants to steal your car, a stupid car alarm is just a minor inconvenience that they can deal with in the matter of seconds.. So my advice is don't waste your money on one. If someone wants your car they're gonna take it regardless.
