Ball up some newspaper and use water and vinegar-----cleans slicker than snot

 

i use windex. then finish it off by waxing them

 

I used to laugh at the people using newspaper. Thought that they forgot towels/paper or were too cheep to buy some.

Then I tried it. It works sooo good. Not sure why but try it once. Readily available and free!

 

I use stoner invisible glass -- great stuff

 

hhmm, I would think that the nature of newspaper ink (that stuff never really dries) would make it worse, but hey why not, weirder things have happened and apparently it works great, i must try this....

 

Newspaper is what tint shops tend to use. If they can't get some greasy gummy tar off, then it's time to break out the simply green and a scratchy pad. Try this, take a lantern and intentionally run the wick up real high so it blackens the glass. Once nicely blackened, use the newspaper with nothing on it and see what you can get off of the glass. The stuff will come clean with no water. Similar principal applies to the cleaning of windows.

 

I use plain water, and dry with a clean rag with no fabric softener.
No streaks, no nothing.

hey you think that the paper from those big newspaper drawing pads will do the same thing, i have a crap load of that stuff just sitting here, no way am I ever gonna use this much for drawing, but if it will work here.......

 

windex is ok aslong as you don't have tinting film on the glass. This is what caused all those purple tinted windows

 

sorry takin this off topic here, newspaper is also good for as a weed barrier, lot better then that fabric weed barrier!!!

 

Stoner also recommends using newspaper. Have you tried it?

No I usually use my favorite towels -- but anythings worth a try at least once
