so my car has been sitting in my garage for a while now. I turned it on today and it barely accelerates (only getting up to 2000 rpms)!! any suggestions as to what to do?

 

how long is a while? fuel will lose its octane rating over time, battery could be weak causing elec issues, injectors could be clogged from sitting, animals could build nest inside air intake causing air intake issues, etc, etc

 

Bought a new battery.filled it up with new gas and still nothing. Its been about two weeks since I turned it on

 

check the exhaust for critters? no check engine light? what yr?

 

Yes I do have a cel but its cuz of my headers so that won't help much. Its an 06. My exhaust looks clear
