Default Help....Car in trouble.......

This is Erick, one of the first people in San Diego to join Scion Evo. I have a question...this last weekend i was driving and while switching lanes a piece of furniture was in the lane . Unfortunately my bumber didn't make it. It cracked in half along with my washer fluid container . Does any1 have info or getting rid of a stock bumber? Or maybe an aftermarket front bumberthats not too expensive. All i need is something to put on so i can drive my car thats not too expensive and stop asking my parents to use theirs. Please Let me know, either post here or email me to bbofsd04@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Erick Castro

I was told that legaly you can drive without your bumper is on, as long as your core support (the metal beam across the front, thats under your bumper) is still there. Bumpers usualy cost 150 new, unpainted from the dealer, and you should be able to get it within 24 hours. Hope I helped.

Most body parts you can get from the factory already painted.

I damaged my bumper as well, and my fog light covers fell off! I called Keyes Scion and it was damn near $100 for the painted fog covers! ($50 each)
I doubt you can get the whole bumper for $150.

Oh by the way, I just ended up getting fog lights to fill in the holes!
