Heres my 2 cents for spark plugs
Just repaired a friends car and founf the problem with a ticking and random misfires in the toyota truck, DO NOT USE BOSCH Spark plugs no matter what in imports, for some reason they just dont go well togehter, the tip broke off in the engine and on my uncles 85 truck the tune up place stuck in bosch plugs and after 30K miles the tips broke of also i replaced it with NGK plugs and they are still looking new, im not trying to advertise for anyone but stick with NGK or Denso for your plugs tey cost more but they wont break off into the engine. and they aare OEM

um, to say that they did not work for U is fine.
Were they using a regular socket or a tool/socket specifically designed to r&r spark plugs?
Still, there should be nothing wrong with Bosch ... I'm sure that if this was such a problem that we'd hear more about it.
I've used many brands including Bosch on Chevy, Dodge, Honda with zero issues; other than the fact that cheaper plugs tend to wear more quickly.

In Japanese imports..NGK, Denso...nuff said although some plugs work well in other cars...example Autolites are great everywhere else..ALways avoid Champion they are ok in lawn mowers not much else
