I guess you washed your car under the sun aye? That's what happens when you don't dry it right away. I suggest go with Mik's advise.

I think you should come see me and buy a new one... ...or you could use the above directions cause that will work too. But I recommend trading it in for one without spots

Go get yourself the Mr. Clean autowash system. Your water spots will be gone forever -- if you use it right.

that is soo true. It is so hard to wash a car here without water spots. I tried the mr clean thing and it doesnt work that well for me. Even when i blasted my side mirrors with filtered water it still spotted. I dont even wash my car anymore. Just a quick detail every other day. Unless its really bad ill wash it

Yes, the Mr. Clean autowash system works just as advertised. The people who say it doesn't "work" for them are not using it correctly or properly. All you have to do is followt he instructions and make sure you cover every surface with the ionized water. It works great. You can read more about it on other threads here. Don't listen to the people who say, "it doesn't work for me" ... or....realize that the "for me" in that comment simply means they aren't using it properly. Particularly the one guy here who just told he doesn't even wash his car anymore....duh!

Never heard of the vinegar or ammonia suggestions before, have to try those out.. But, if you don't try those, a good buff job will take them out. Also if you ever get some on your windows, as well.

Mr. Clean works pretty decent but only if you're washing your car late in the day when there is not that much sunshine. I still like to dry my car with a microfiber towel after using Mr. Clean though just in case.

I tried it but it left a funky film all over the paint that a good waxing removed. I suppose it might work for some people, but I prefer the soft brush, car soap, rinse and cali. water blade followed by a pre-moistened then rung out micro-fiber towel. My way may take a bit longer but it also gives you a GOOD look at your paint up close and you get to see if you need any touch ups. Also NO funky residue.
