I am now a Zaino Bros user for LIFE!!
I just got my order from www.zainobros.com and spent half the night waxing my tc. I've only got 2 words: Holy S**t. I can't believe the difference. You would think that stock paint couldn't be improved that much, but it can. If anyone has been thinking about ordering from Zaino, DO IT NOW. You won't be dissapointed. I'll post pics later today if the sun ever comes out....
Ok... I just ordered the ZFX, Z2, and Z6 from them the other night. My car is new, but since I'm starting this whole process I'll probably use the clay bar I picked up the other day (not Zaino) before I start.
What did you use and do you have any comments or tips on the process? How long did it take?

Yes, Zaino Bros. is the way to go. You learn very quickly why they rate the best in every test.
Remember, it is better to use less vs. more of the products. In past tests, it was less effective when they used too much of the prodicts. A little goes a loooooong way.

Also, what products do you personally use? They sell so many things that I was just following some other advice getting the Z2 ZFX and Z6...
That's just about all you need. Although a clay bar is a necessity every now and then...
You can search on google and see TONS of reviews and complimentary articles on it. My friend bought GuruReports.com's test they did of 46 different waxes. Zaino won.
Since then, that's pretty much all I'll use. You get what you pay for though.

Lastly. wash the car with regular Dawn soap first to remove any old wax, then claybar it, then wash again with Dawn soap.
When I had my 98 Buick Regal it used to take me a about 2-3 days for a complete Zaino job... but the end results were well worth it.

I've read that some people have used wax on top of Zaino but I agree with florencescion. Seems to me there would be a bonding issue with a polymer and wax.

i'm a zaino fan. i love that stuff. it's pretty easy to use and the time invested is well worth it 'cause it lasts so long. it smells good too. i first learned about it from dennis kirban the buick grand national guru. he said that dust doesn't stick as much because of the zaino's properties. he's right! i drove one of my cars down a dusty road and thought rats there goes my clean car, but when i got home there was hardly any dust at all!
just follow the directions and you'll be very happy with the results. it's a little pricey but you can stop buying and trying different waxes because zaino is the best.

As for what wax to use, it kinda depends on the color of your paint, how often you wax, and how much money you want to spend. I use Pinnacle Signature on my wife's silver car and Souveran on my BSP tC.
Hope this helps
