Default installing HID

I just bought the a H4 hid kit for my xB. The instructions were kinda hard to read and understand so i tired to do it myself. A problem i have is when i turn it on low beam it shows up at high beam and when i turn it on high beam, the light turns off. did i wire it wrong? Can anyone help me fix this problem. Thanks

hid kits that i've noticed run like this..
honda:
the ground is CONSTANT and a POSITIVE wire is powered to
turn on 'hi and lo' beams..

whereas the scion:
constant positive, and negative wires get ground to power the
hi or lo beams.. u will need a NEW wire diagram..
i made one(drawing just for u)

if u switch the + and - wires on the factory plug then it will come on with the low beam but u will not have a high beam because on a 9006 system the polarity switches for high beam... not that u would really need it since HID's are usually too bright to begin with

if i get a chance 2morrow ill take a quick pic of what i mean
