Default K&N cold air intake

i have a K&N CAI still in the box waiting to be installed on a 05 XB, but i have read in this forum about CAI messing up the MAF sensor, are there any K&N CAI users out there who can tell me how they feel about the intake, or if they have experienced any problems with it. thanks

Drop in filter would have been as good. Less problems. Some restrictions is good....

We have had our K&N Typhoon CAI on our xB for about 5 or 6 months and have had no problems with it. Maybe I should put it in mileage instead, about 10,000 miles and everything is great and works perfectly. We personally would not use any other brand of intake in our cars.

The problem seems to be the Injen messing with the sensor. Have not read any problems about the K & N doing that type of stuff.

did you guys have to wait after the so called "break in" period before you've installed any mods?

Default Cold Air Intake...

I've been through 3 Mass Airflow Sensors in as many weeks. I have the dealer installed AEM cold air induction, but now wish I had stuck with the standard airbox with it's dry filter, instead.

K & N cai for about 16,000 miles with no problems. I love it!

For a good price try adventon.com in cali. I bought mine from them. I picked it up in person. Lowest price on the net but you have to pay for shipping.

Had to take my K&N out. I kept getting the check engine light come on. I did all the steps to reset it but it kept coming back on eventually.
