So I changed my oil about two to three weeks ago and everything was going fine....until the first of the week a new light that Ive never seen came on as I was driving down the interstate... and no its not the MAINT REQD light... its the one that looks like an engine...does anybody have any troubleshooting tips before I take it to the dealership...which I dont want to do...Thanks

 

that is the check engine light, or the CEL, go to auto zone or pep boys or advanced auto parts, have them pull the code, call your dealership, ask what the code means, then see if you need to get it fixed.
dealerships charge 99 dollars just to see the damn code.

 

well thanks for that info but the light went off like one or two days after i posted....maybe was so bad gas or something cause i put a new tank of gas in and about a day or so after it went off and didnt come back on....
