Default Meguiars mirror glaze products...any good

I was wondering if anyone has used the #7 show car glaze or #5 new car glaze and #26 hi-tech yellow wax. Its meguiars professional line of car care products. I was wondering if it is better than gold class stuff and if it shines like NXT. Let me know.

I was going to move it, but I don't know how..........so thank you.

Is there another topic like this. I just want to know if the professional series is better than gold class and NXT.

all the OTC stuff looks just about the same. You'll be happy with anything.

if you can find it at autzone/advanced (try the rv sections), collinite 845 insulator wax is a particularly durable wax that leaves behind a nice gloss.

Yeah, I've been using the #26 wax along with Meguiars Deep Crystal polishes since I got my car. I have a few pics up on my cardomain here.

I haven't tried the glazes yet, however.

If you want long lasting, you should go for Collinite. It's really tough and can stay for 3+ months.
I had actually tried NXT before #26, but i had problems where it left wierd splotches even after a ton of buffing with a good MF towel. I returned it as defective and got the 26. Honestly, I have to say that the shine both waxes give is about the same. I like 26 because its easier to apply (you can't easily use too much). In summer, I wax my every 5-6 weeks, although that isn't necessary. It will last about 1.5-2 months, but towards the end you will see some degredation in the shine and reflection.

BTW, what color is your car?

My box is camo green. Its a dark color. I was just wondering if the #26 wax is worth those 12-14 dollars or not. I've been using the whole gold class products with the exception with the paint cleaner and polish.

I apply wax every month, drive through freeways under construction, and it stays outside all the time, 24/7. I just want something that will make my car darker or just shiner.

I'm not a online buyer type of guy. Whatever I can find in the stores, that is what I'll buy. So far, Meguiars is my pick. Unless you or anyone else, knows a place where they just sell detailer stuff, then I'll go there. If you know, please let me know..
