Default NuFinish for scratches?

As I was flipping through the channels, I saw a commercial for NuFinish Scratch Remover. Being a tC owner, I think it has become standard for everyone to have numerous dings on the paint. Does anyone have any experience with this product or have another they've used that worked?

I have tried it and it is ok. I have seen posts of others who swear by a Meguiar's product--possibly called Scratch X.

Nu Finish will not remove scraches. It is a heavy glaze type product. Glazes fill in swirls and scratches temporarily. After a few washes/rainstorms, these fillers will begin to deteriorate and the swirls and scratches will return.
ScratchX is an abrasive polish. The abrasives in scratchX will remove clearcoat and level it out so that swirls and scratches are permanantly eliminated. don't feel that this is an end all to your paint defects though. scratchX is a rather light polish when compared to what else is out there on teh market. it will remove some moderate swirling though. Just know that it will take a LONG time to do because it is used by hand (when used by a machine, it dries up too fast). be ready to spend 1-2 afternoons doing your car if you want to use it.

I was thinking about just using it as spot treatment...

I have used both Scratch-X and Nu Finish with good results on both. I think Meguiars Scratch-X works a little better.

I used no buffer for either... all by hand, and it was not bad at all.

These are the two products I have used, with similar results from each.
