Unhappy Power Steering Belt keeps shredding and breaking

I've had the belt replaced 3 times and it keeps breaking after a couple of months. I did a thorough search online and the only thing I could find was possibly the pullies are out of alignment. How do I check the alignment of the pullies?

If you've got super good eyes you could do it visually. There's a pulley alignment tool for retail around the internet and some auto parts stores which consists of removing the drive belt and placing the alignment tool in position, it emits a laser beam and alignment is judged from there. Or you could go to a dealer or shop and ask them to do it for a fee.

Don't take your car to Pep Boys. Turns out they repeatedly put the belt on too loose. I tightened it up myself and all is well now.
