Default Problems with sunroof closing (tC)

This just started 2 days ago.. My sunroof will open without a problem then when I try to close it, it will close 80% of the way then all of a sudden it stops and goes in the other direction.

I checked the track and there wasn't anything blocking it.. It happened yesterday then just went away all by itself, now the problem is back.

Any easy fix for this or should I just take it to the dealer?

Do a search. This has happened to many different people and I have seen many different posts on it. You need to reset your computer, then re-calibrate your sunroof.

Alright, thanks! I'll be doing that in a few minutes.

I will if the ECU reset doesn't work. The dealership around here is always really busy, I don't feel like waiting 2 hours for them to do what I could do in 10 minutes.

i had this problem and i think its because the windows have a safety mechanism to where if there is any backpressure on the window, it will go the other way so as not to crush someones hand etc. all i did was wd-40 everything i could find in the track that would cause the slightest bit of friction and i havent had the problem since.... that was back in december......
