Default Quality of stock windshield wipers?

What is all yours takes on the stock windshield wipers? Do they do a decent job or a really good job?

What I was thinking when mine is delievered in the next week or 2 is if they dont do a very good job I will just go and buy some top quality micro blades for it

Mine are fine...I haven't seen any PIAA or other brand blades in action, but the stock ones do their job...

Mine aren't that great. They seem to smear the water and it's a real pain at night when oncoming traffic lights up the windshield. I used Rain-X and it was nice while it lasted but I'm not too happy with the stock blades.

mine are honestly the best ones ive ever had. i havent bought any super expensive ones before, but ive had the top of the line that the local auto parts store carries, and these are far superior, i wouldnt plan on trashin them, at least not without giving them a try.

Apply a coating of Rain-X on your windows and the wipers will do a much better job. Also it's loads of fun to travel down the highway during a rain storm without having to use your wipers. The force of the wind will just blow the rain off when the Rain-X coating is fresh.

They are fine, I guess. I've noticed that if I run them for a while (like 45 mins) the driver wiper starts to drag it's upper tip and looks like it is streaking a mark into the windshield...comes off tho, but not what I would want in a new set of wipers...

Have you seen the cool wipers they have for the bB? :?

I'm happy with the original front wipers.

The rear wiper chatters, probably due to the cheapo plastic arm flexing. I also dislike the dribble washer on the rear window.

Scion would have been better off to leave the rear wiper off entirely, save a couple of bucks, and avoid the quality issue.

In the meantime, does anyone know of a better quality metal arm that will fit the Scion?
