Default R/O water for washing?

Hello, I was just wondering using reverse osmosis water would be a good idea when washing cars?

Right now I'm under the impression that using regular water (Especially here in AZ with our SUPER hard water) is the main culprit of water spots due to the high concentrations of solids etc. I'm also under the impression (although this could be way off the mark) that RO water reduces these solids.

Right now I use the Mr. Clean Autodry and it does a decent job, but I'm just trying to explore some more options.

Just go and get some dionized water or something. If you are really concerned wash your car in the shade like I do. When I first washed my car, I got a lot of water spots, but then I washed it in the shade and no water spots now.

R/O will help a little bit when dealing with waterspots, but it wont completely solve the problem. To do this, you would have to invest in a De-Ionized water supply. Minerals in the water are the reasons that waterspots form, de-ionized water does not have these minerals anymore. I know www.topoftheline.com carry's some deionization systems. www.crspotless.com (i think thats the link anyways) has them also. You might also want to check out this thread @ autopia seeing as it discusses this very same topic
