rattle from rear
when i drive / turn my xb hard, i hear the rattle from the rear passenger side, around the rear seat, sometime it come up when i park the car. is ther anyone can tell me where it come from? my car's everything is stock, and no cargo net or cover behide.. thanks
Is yours a high pitched squeal of a rattle? I have the same thing, and i took it to the dealer and they couldn't "replicate the problem at this time." Problem is it doesn't always happen.
Mine is usually only at freeway speeds when I'm turning to the left [curving to the left].
Elsewhere in this forum there's a TCB about rattle on the backside of the rear seats, but it seems to involve bolts that are loose. I tried this but these bolts were on so tight, i couldn't even loosen them (i know, I'm a wuss)!
So, I'm going to mention the rattle to them every time I come in; hopefully i't'll magically re-appear one of those times.

yes, that's what i get from the rear.. the dealer is my friend, i talked to him yesterday, he told me he had the same thing happen in his one also, so i think they couldn't fix it at all, now.
i'm thinking to wrap the bolt with somthing to stop it. :?

I highly recommend you take it in and bring the TSB found here:

Took mine in and it solved nearly all of my rattles. On the back seat I also recommend putting some tape around the bracket the seat lock catches on.. Sorry I don't know the right name. Basicaly this is what you do:
Flip down the back seat; take a long, thin piece of electrical tape; wrap it around the upper arm of the bracket (I wrapped it about five times around).
That's it. The catch of the seat lock will sit more firmly and will no longer rattle. But the seat fix in the TSB helps as well.
I also had some big issues in the cargo area, specifically with the spare's rim getting clobbered by the tools and a screw from a sub bracket. Used some auto weather stripping, 3/4" thick, and fixed that.

Just realized I phrased it wrong, there is no "upper arm," but once you flip the seat forward you'll see what I mean. There'll be ware on one arm and not on the other, the one with ware is the one to wrap.
Good luck!
Good luck!
