Default REAR DOOR HEIGHT

Anybody know if there are new door hinge hydrolic things that will raise the rear door higher? I ve been running into the rear door a lot with my head when i load/unload stuff.

ANY IDEAS?

I think the rear door height has more to do with the hinge design than the arms raising it. Push up on the door when fully extended to see if there is any play in it. If so you may be correct.

Maybe install diferent Gas shocks on the back tailgate that can extend it farther. But the only prob with that is that the tailgate wont go much farther, but just somthing to thinkabout

If i raised it, I'll lose the flatness of the roof when fully opened to hang out under too.

I still might consider it if a kit comes out or something else.
