Default Repairing a Cracked Bumper

hey guys.

due to the wonderful people who don't pay attention when they are backing up their car, my car's rear bumper is now cracked. it's not cracked to the point where it's broken into pieces, but it's just a light crack where you can see the lines running through the bumper.

i'm just wondering are there any ways to fix that or to make it less noticeable?

thanks.

no suggestions?

my car's black so i'm just looking for a compound paste in black that will just cover the crack lines up since they're white to make it less noticable until i can find a replacement rear bumper.

thanks.

If you cover the crack, it will just reappear again. I would grind out the crack with a die grinder depending on how deep it is, and fill it with either a plastic welder or a plastic bumper repair kit. grind it, then block flat, bumper primer, repaint, and reclear.

Or you could take it to the local body shop and they will charge you about 400 bucks to do what i just said.

if the crack is small, you can wet sand the bumper with 2000 grit paper and then apply compound and buff it out. if the crack is a little big u might want to use touch up paint.

ok pics are up. the cracks do not go through the bumper. it's just on the surface and not deep.
