Default Rust on my car? Only had it for couple months!

Hello just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I found a tiny rust spot on the roof of my car the other day. It hasn't even seen winter yet. What should I do? Is that covered under warranty?

Just talk to the dealer. They'll explain.

is it just lil specks that look like rust? if so, its normal, just look at top of your rear bumper it should be full of em, and the bumper isnt made of metal, so its not rusting

well i went to my local dealer(not the one i bought from) and they said it was a rock chip and didn't matter if it was winter or not and that they couldn't fix under warranty..so i'm just gna call up to the dealership i got it from. if they don't fix i won't buy from them again!

Toyota and Honda...really good cars but horrible paint. I just today saw an old Tercel driving down the road next to me,98% rust, but still rinning. I don't even need to mention my old 86' Accord lxi do I? In my opinion, these things will rust....bad,but I didn't buy my car just for looks,I will be happy to be the rusted out xA 10 years from now passing an AVEO(or pretty much any other american car) either on blocks or going on it's 5th engine/head.

i dont think they have to fix your problem, if its rusting from a rock chip that removed paint and is exposing metal its your problem. if i get the side of my vehicle keyed and it goes down to the metal and starts rusting im not going to expect the manufacturer to cover it under warranty.

now if it rusted without any bare metal, then youd have a claim.
