my dealer just gave me the simoniz teflon kit for my tc. wanted to know if anyone has either put it on themselves yet, or have anything to say-good or bad about the stuff. also, do you have to use an orbital buffer to do it?

Aright...heres the deal with Simoniz...Its a protective waxing system that has teflon in it to battle against the extremities....It does hafta be applied by hand on the scions cause of the thin clear coat...It does Not last the entire life of the car. Its supposed to last up to about 3 years but I wouldnt count on anything with the type of weather we have here...It is definitely something good to have applied to the car. I offer it to everyone especially in the winter time. It builds up such a thick coat that its almost like having a second clear coat. All in all, its well worth the money.
