Default simoniz teflon paint protection

i just bought some of this stuff, dealerships are charging like $850 for it. i didn't get it at the dealership-i just bought the stuff online. anyone have it or had it in the past? just want to see if it really works and if i should even bother with it, or return it. i didn't really wanna have to go with the 3m paint shield overlay thing, but i need something to protect the paint from chips and stuff. on my last tc, there was chips and crap all over the front of the car. made me so ____ed off just seeing the crap.

if a car care product has teflon in it, the teflon isnt going to do anything. teflon has to be heated to hundreds of degrees in order for it to bond and work correctly. your car's surface never reaches anywhere near the necessary temperatures to do this.
