Default Stain on paint... need removal products!

I have had this stain for a long time an it is now really starting to ____ me off... It wont come off by rubbing with water and soap and i even got an expensive car wash with buffing and everything that got most of it off but not this part. it is sort of flaky in texture but i am afraid to chip it off because i do not want my paint to chip. here are some pictures of it:

Anyone know any products that might get this off without damaging my paint?

Note: I have no idea what it is *

I'd try something like Meguiars ScratchX. It's mildly abrasive for removing paint swirls. It's worked well for me with removing door scuffs- where people have hit my door with their's and left paint or rubber marks on the paint.

Try Goo Gone. It worx on most glues and road grime. Another way is an old pinstripers trick. Use Easy Off oven cleaner (Blue cap only). Spray it on, let it sit a minute or so, wipe it off with a wet cloth. Repeat as needed.

Good luck and let us know how it worx.

I wish I could see it in real life, but I think I know exactly how to fix it. I have plenty of experience with paints and detailing and have used many products over the years.

What you want to buy is a thing of compound that comes in a bottle (it pours out like ketchup). I forget which brand I uses. But anyways, clean the area with soap/water or with some all purpose cleaner. Dry it. Then apply the compound to a towel and buff as much as you can and I can almost guarantee it will come off.

I don't think you will hurt the paint at all. Compounding is like using a very fine sandpaper, so it scrapes away at the tiny particles of the top of the surface. After this is done use some wax to protect the area you just compounded down.

I can basically guarantee this, as long as those marks arent chips but something on top of the car surface. It might just be some rubber or paint or something that somehow rubbed up on there.

Drop me a PM with how things go and check out the link to my custom painted stuff if you are interested.

Best of luck,
JOE

It looks like some kind of paint scuff/transfer. First try some WD40 on a soft cloth then try some rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth. If it removes it follow up with some good quality wax. Let us know how it goes please.

Looks like concrete to me. Google it and some say to head for Home Depot and get some muriatic acid. Use at your own risk.
