Default Stock radio giving "Error 4"

Every time I insert a disc into my stock stereo I get "error 4". I looked this up in the manual and it said this is caused by excessive current? The only thing that has changed in my wiring is I tapped into the lighter adapter wires to hook up a pilot light. I think this is on the same circuit as the radio but not sure exactly if and how it would cause the error.

If anyone knows anything more about this error and/or it's causes, or how to reset the stereo back to factory defaults please post.

If not I'll have to take it in to the dealership, and I'm not sure whether or not they'll frown on my tap. Any info on this?

Thank you!
