A few days ago while playing poker at a friends house, two punk kids (junior high age) ripped all of the emblems off my car. We were outside taking a smoking break when we actually saw them, and chased them down the street. They got away cuz they were on bikes... Plus we can't run for ____!

Anyway, they used a screwdriver to take them off the back (leaving huge scratches) and broke off the one in the front (damaging my grille)

After searching the forums, I found other stories of stolen hubcaps and emblems and anything Scion related. My Girlfriends little brother (age 14) said that kids at school put the logos on their backpacks, or wear the emblems on a chain.

I mean, I rember kids doing this back in the day with gold Lexus embelms. But these are cheap cars! I can't believe they're that popular with young kids

Well, just a heads up... Look out for punk vandals out there. Looks like Scion did a better job of appealing to "youths" than I thought :?

Damn, I feel for you! I have had my back badge stolen....twice! I am now thinking of just getting something airbrushed or a vinyl badge. I also got my valve covers stolen twice too.
God help those punks when I catch them.

I was like wtf you had your valve cover stolen twice now thats some ____, but then it hit me, u where speaking of the wheel valve covers.

 

What sucks is I was just thinking of debadging the box before this happened. But instead I had to buy new badges to cover up the deep screwdriver scratches they left behind. :?

I got a bB for the front cuz I don't think they want that one. They want Scion logos... And the bB looks tighter anyway!

Man, I go out and buy alarms, clubs, wheel locks, and detacthable head units to help me sleep better at night, and now I have to worry about emblems!

 

I debaged for this reason. I can't get my wife to let me do hers, but she'll regret it. We've been having a lot of kids walk by on their way back to the ghetto from football pratice asking questions..

I used to drive a dadge ram, 1986.. with the ram head.. I was so proud of it, then one day GONE.

 

You should set up a device that will give those little ____s a nice little shock when they touch the logo. Have it set where its a little shock the first time, the second time have it where it will knock them on there ___. Then have a verbal warning say the next touch will kill, so if the touch it again make sure its enough to knock them out, dont kill them, but incase it does you have that warning that they should have listend to :twisted:

I see a triple post . I was just using it as a idea. Did not know they had systems like that. . I recall this one show I saw a long while ago. It was about this flame throwing security system used in the uk. If some one tried to break into your car a flame would shot up at you from the rocker pannels :twisted:, now that would be nice to have

 

i thought i was having de ja vu when i read that thing three times........hahaha.......as for the the flame throwin cars, they are sick.........i have seen a couple on those commercials at well......but the are only for the sides of the car.....not for the front and rear......so they wont help when they want to take your emblems......

 

my mom used to have the mack truck bulldog emblem on the hood of her mazda truck.

i debadged my xb. maybe i should get my rear scion logo painted gold and pretend im a white gangsta wannabe and wear it aroudn my neck while driving.

i saw some white gangsta wannabe driving a H2 one day and i couldnt help but point and laugh at him, he looked so stupid.

Someone ripped the entire grill off my xB, it was lame. What do you do with a scion emblem anyway? You'd look like a clown with a big oval S on your neck.

About those flamethrower systems; they're huge in mexico and brazil and other third world countries because you can fry police officers with them. All the drug dealers and gangsters are flossing them, it's crazy.

 

I thought it was South Africa that had the flamethrowers? Johannesburg is the rape capital of the world after all.

But I digress, you guys gave me an idea, I think I am gonna look for an IST badge for the back then, perhaps the little turds won't want that one.

 

Whenever H2 Drivers look at me, I put my hand on my head and lift it up til it hits the roof a couple times, just to point out all the extra headroom I've got. I'm sure they have NO idea WTF I'm doing, but it makes me feel good and then I do the superior dance...

There are birds that like to roost on the mirrors of cars in our apartment complex and of course crap on them. I'd love to give them a shock. Or two or three.
