Hey Everyone, just came back from Lunch and I noticed pulling into my lot at work that when I hit first gear and second gear at mid 2000s RPM i am getting what sounds like a Valve Tap or Rattle. I am about 30 miles from needing my 20,000 oil change (which to this point i have gotten at Jiffy lube) and am a bit nervous. Will this go away with a fresh oil change or could there be other problems? I've also noticed if i get out of my car after it's been running on the highway for an hour or so the engine seems to have a bit of a valve rattle/tap at idle. getting nervous but haven't done any engine mods.... only mod i did was an OMNIFI DMP1 Install. Any advice would be much appreciated.

 

First thing I'd do is check the oil level...
