Hey, I was just wondering whether anyone knew the color code for the 2006 tC Black Sand Pearl? I tried looking in the manual and around the car itself, but I couldn't find anything. I kinda got into an accident.....with a wall... and now my right rear quarter panel is all scratched up and dented. I'm getting it fixed this weekend, but I just wanna make sure that they use the right color on it, since it's not exactly "black" (sand pearl). They say it will take about 8 days and about $2500. Thanks for your help!

 

There is a Tech article for all of the paint codes. I'm not sure if it specifies 2006, but it can't be much different, if at all. If anything, order from the dealer and they'll match it to your VIN and be sure it's right.

Oh yeah, the number code is also on your door panel sticker. At least it should be. I dont think I have looked at that sticker on a Scion yet... ...i could be wrong about that one. But the code is still 209.

 

Is that middle character a zero or the letter "O"

 

I believe it the letter "O". That would follow the pattern of all the other codes...1E7, 8S6,...although there is that pesky 040 -zero four zero- for Polar White.
