Hey all,

I am in the process of installing an aftermarket 4 channel amp into my 2014 Scion tC. Halfway through the install, I was really surprised to find a small factory amp under the driver seat that powers the two front 6x9s.

This has complicated the install somewhat because the amp output wires are totally different colors from the input wires, making it almost impossible to know what wires go where when trying to bypass the damn thing.

Has anyone had any success bypassing the factory amp? Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know the color codes of the wires? Unless I can find some information on this, I am going to have to run all new wires into the doors which would really not be fun or easy.

Any insight would really help.
