Default TC dashboard problem

My tc has a 2 inch round "bubble" starting to aise on the dashboard. It is about 4 inches above the the stereo in the center of the dashboard. The raised area is not that high - maybe 1/16 of an inch. You notice it looking at an angle and can feel it if you rub your fingers over the area.

Right now I don't want to have the dash replaced just for this. Just hope it doesn't get any larger.

Anyone else out there with this problem or have a solution (other than get a dashcover)?

(I did a search but didn't find anything on this.)

yeh, i got nothing on this one, but i can definetly tell you that getting it replaced is not the greatest of ideas. mad parts have to come apart and the technician is only getting paid dirt for it since it will be warranty. he will not give a ____ and likely break minor things you can't ever see. and almost always on jobs like this, squeaks and rattles multiply after it's finished. unless this thing is atrocious, i'd save yourself the headache.

minor bump? or noise?

Default Had my dash replaced...

My dash had the bubble and little dips on the same area above the radio on the top of the dash. It also had several small pin holes in this one area where the plastic did not totally mold. Later on, I noticed dips on the passenger side as well. They were mostly noticable from the passenger side of the car looking in. Once you sat in front of them, you didnt notice them as much. I took my car to the dealership i purchased it from and they gave me a hard time and said it was normal to the car. So, after it bothered me enough, i took it to the scion dealer in the town i live in. They ordered the dash, which came in the day after and put it in the car the day after that. To my surprise, they did not scratch/ding anything on the car and there are no rattles weeks after. This dash looks much better. Oh, as a hint of help. Do not put any protectant on your dash. I was told by Scion and the dealer to use a slightly damp cloth only and to do it just lightly enough to remove dust. They said the front window is 100% uv protection for your dash. No need for Armor All, etc.
