Default Is there an easier way to get the wax out of the microfiber?

Besides just mild detergent and trying to soften it out with HOT water, what other options are there?

Are you using it to apply the wax, or buff it off? I use the round sponge applicator that comes with my Meguiars NXT Tech Wax, and then a microfiber to buff off the dry haze. That towell always comes clean in the wash.

I was using the towel to buff it off. Apparently hand washing doesn't really work. I keep forgetting to throw it in the laundry and instead do it in the sink.

LOL....yeah, I've done that too. Here's what I started to do: I bought several microfiber towels (in two different sizes) from Wal-Mart. I keep them folded and sealed in a Tupperwear-type container about the size of a shoebox. I use them to buff wax, dry the car after I use the California Water Blade, dust the dash, clean the windows with Stoner's Invisible Glas.....etc. Anyhow, as I start to accumulate "dirty" ones, I just pile them all in one spot in my garage until I'm almost out of clean ones. Then I just toss them in the washing machine set to very small load all by themselves. When they are done, I toss them in the dryer at LOW heat. Too hot can melt the microfibers and make then abrasive. Then I fold them and put them back in the sealed container.
