Tire Rotation front-back or criss-cross?
I know that the manual says to rotate the tires by simply switching the front and back tires. So the front left goes to back left and ditto for the other side.
It would make more sense in my mind to rotate the tires in a criss-cross fashion. Meaning back-left goes to front-right and back-right goes to front-left. This makes an X shape. It seems that this would aid in uneven wear. I'm looking for someone who really knows what their talking about, but any opinions are appreciated.

Thank you for that. So the X is actually what should probably be done yet our manual says to switch front and back left to left and right to right. Oh well. Thanks instigator!

I have the stock yokohamas on mine, so i'm not too worried about that. In the future when I purchase the high performance, i'll be sure to look out for that. Thanks for the heads up
i also need to rotate my tires. I was told that letter A was for FWD cars unless something about directional tires just like oldyeller said. How can you tell if your tires are directional. thanks
^ Looking at the tread pattern helps, but all directional tires say it on the side and are usually accompanied by an arrow pointing one way with the words saying "rotation"
