Hey for vacuuming the inside of the car, what do most of you use? I used to have a small silver Shark vac but it was stolen last year (house broken into) so now I have nothing thats small, kinda light to use. I was thinking of getting a shop vac, but I have no idea if those are worth their price when they're small.

 

I am using my household vacuum cleaner with extension.

I tried a small shark vac and it was weak. took forever to clean anything. sleek looking piece of equipment but it worked like a piece of junk.
for best resuklts go to a good car wash and throw a few quareters into their vacuuum.

 

make sure you vacuum sucks really good (sucks as in the good way not crappy) plus its a good pun on words lol

 

or just pay 1 dollar for those power vacuum in the self-service carwash place. Those suck!!

 

most of the time at the carwash places the vacuums there do suck a bunch of nothing and leaves the dirt beind :?

 

i use a shopvac in my garage.

 

I have A DirtDevil Scorpion. It's a rechargeable portable vac. It works okay, I never had any problems with it. My only issue is that the battery life is short.

 

75 cents each time is a great price. As for dirt left behind... neverhad that problem with the vacs at the car washes.

 

The car wash vaccum are the worst....imho

 

wish i had a shop vac but i go to the self car wash for $1.25. It is much more powerful than any portable and is commercial use. If your hose has a problem sucking.....go to a newer place and check the hose for clutter before using it.

I paid $15 for a cheap vac from Target that plugs into my cig lighter and it works great. Keep it in the back of the car and my interior is always clean.

I like the powerful vacs at the car wash, but be sure to take a damp cloth and wipe off the end of the vac claw to be sure there is no excess dirt or grease on it so it won't get your seats or carpet soiled when you use it!!!

 

shop vac i think maybe 3-5 gal? easy enough to get around not to loud and was only $30-40????

 

I too use The Shark, which I bought at Target. It works great at home and in the car cause I can separate the center of the vac to carry it around outside!

 

I use the house vac with the extension too. That's the only way I can get all the dust from work out.
