water in engine??

Default water in engine??

Hey guys well here in long island we've been getting alot of rain! i have the injen cold air intake and i drove in a big puddle of water
Now all i hear is alittle knocking sound coming from the engine :o should i be worried?? can it be something else?? if i do have water what should i do???
someone please help!!

it's possible that water did get into the engine.. take the cold air intak off and see if water is in there.. if it is.. time for a dealer inspection and if there is damage, you'll have to pay sorry to say

I hate to agree with scion tc mich.. but water is a horrible thing for the engine.. you are the first with a tC that I know of to suck water up the CAI.. but, from having friends and family who have done something like this before.. not only is it a problem it can be a really expensive fix...
