when did you do it?
Quick question. When did decide to do any of the following. Fuel Injection Cleaned, Carbon Deposit(Not sure of the exact term), Intake Valves. Basically, a guy at the dealership recommended I do the cleaning of my system from that little chart they have that displays all the grim, buildup, deposits that happens to the 4 components of your vehicle at the toyota dealership. I was wondering if it was necessary or when you all did yours?
I know some questions might be asked about my driving so here they are:
Mostly freeway miles and city. 80% freeway 20% city
i have 40k miles on a 2005.

Anything that involves having to clean the carbon build-up in your intake and on your valves, doesn't hurt to do at all. Considering your at around 40K miles, I'd say do it, it'll benefit your car. I think that it should be done every 30K miles...
Think of it as you going to the dentist to get your teeth cleaned, it makes you look and feel good right? Your car will thank you with extra miles per gallon...

I run injector/cylinder/valve cleaner through it every oil change. Preventive maintenance never hurt. Save some bucks and do it yourself rather than pay big bucks to stealership.
