Default Wind Noise

I have noticed a few posts about the wind noise on the Xa, but none that do with getting rid of it. What would you suggest to get rid of the wind noise coming from the front drivers side window? Or do I just have to deal with it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Default Wind

If you are talking about what sounds like a booming bass in a wind tunnel when you have only the drivers window down, I have found that if I open one of the other windows in the car, it takes it away, but if I only have one window down, I feel like my ear drums are going to explode. I do have sensetive hearing, but the only other time I have had the problem was in my 92 Civic HB as I would drive past an international airport landing strip. I think its got something to do with how much air is getting into the car as compared to getting out. I could just be retarded, but I know that opening another window will make the noise a little more bearable.

I thought that i was the only one with the driver side window problem... all my windows are up, and going 50 + there's an air noise in my drivers window... I would dexpect a noise like that at probably 80+ but not starting at 50 - 65 mph

If you have less than 36k mi. and 3 years, drop by your local dealer and let them fix it.

It happens with most hatchbacks...just crack anoter window and it will go away...this has been discussed before.

don't trip. take it to the dealer and have them fix it. i have a xa with wind noise from driver's side, too.

if the dealer refuses to fix it, just try another toyota dealer.
