Default Window cleaning, need help

Ok, so i've looked around for a while, and I dont think anyone has had the same problem as me. I can't get my window clean, no matter how i do it, what i use, or what time of day. Please give me some insight. I always seem to have horrible streaks completely across my window, and you can see a line from the wipers. HELP Please!

i use rain-x once, then stoners invisible glass, and it gets real clean. I dont know what yours would be so bad?

Oh, and i doubt this is your problem, but it was mine.
I had some spots on my windshield that nomatter what i did, it would get off. I though i messed up with rain-x or something...
Then i finally realized it was on the inside of thewindshield. Doh!

Yeah, I'd say try the Stoner's Invisible Glass or even Meguiar's NXT Glass cleaner. You could also use a microfiber towel to wipe it off.

If its the inside windows, try going through with some vinegar diluted with a little water first... then go through with your regular glass cleaner.

Follow up with a dry waffle weave microfiber towel.

Stoner's Invisable Glass and NXT Glass Cleaner are my two favorites. Use a microfiber cloth with a tight weave to apply, and then a waffleweave towel to dry. If the outside of you window is really bad, use a clay bar on it just as you would on your paint. If that doesn't work, try some Bar Keeper's Friend.

I agree with everyone else before me, Stoner's Invisible Glass works wonders!

When you wash the car, spend more time on the windows. Take it slow, soap the same areas more than once if you need to. The wiper lines should then be gone. Make sure you rinse extra well in this case to get all the suds off.

A squeegee and Stoners IG insures streak free windows. Takes less than 5 minutes to do all outside glass and looks perfect.

also, i use bioclean water stain remover on my dads windows wit really bad waterspots, and it worked pretty good. It is like a thick paste that you rub on and it feels kinda gritty, but when you buff it out, it usually helps

Yep--there are some chemicals in the newsprint that work wonders--and nothing tops Stoner's. Has anyone tried the new Stoner's in the pump spray as opposed to the aerosol??

I've never used the aerosol. Is there a "new" new pump spray?

no its the same. i think the reason for the spray is to keep th o-zone layer from burning up and it keeps the hippies happy.

To add to this thread-
I have started using Toyota's Glass Cleaner. Someone makes it for them, contains ammonia AND alcohol. Best stuff I've found out there. I didn't think Toyota's Glass cleaner would be that good, wow was I surprised.

Dealer can get you this stuff.. Some dealers stock it, some don't.

Newspaper and windex is the best solution!! Don't use paper towels, it will just smear the windex.
