I'll make you all mad, I was wearing a t-shirt all day, it was nearly 70 here

 

It was 68 degrees yesterday and within 24 hours it has dropped to 35 degrees. I'm ready for the beach!

 

lol well I thought about jumping in the pool when I got home, then I got to thinking... that would be a bit cold since it was 20 something last night

 

A couple of days ago we had snow, but it was all gone by yesterday.

I did snap a quick pic of it out the kitchen window, though, at it's worst...



I'm ready to go to Miami...

I think we are all ready to be in Miami already....my nerves are out of control, the days are too slow! I want sand and water and fun!

There is really hot and hot in Florida - I miss snow. *pouts*

 

Naw, Florida gets warm and very warm, Maria. You need to go someplace like parts of Arizona and Southern California to understand "hot."

If course there are other parts of the world that make even Barstow seem like paradise. I've always liked this quote:

Seasons are nice, I suppose, but coming from another part of the country lacking in "four seasons" (we have two: Winter and Summer - you can tell when it's Summer: the rain is warmer), I've only experienced four seasons in other places I've lived. They are usually either too hot or too cold, with all too brief times between of more 'normal' temperatures.

While snow is pretty, one doesn't have to shovel rain. That's one reason I keep coming back here.

I miss the AZ heat....this cold in Houston isn't for me.

 

lol Crimson I'd rather have the cold then the 110+ weather of the other 11 and a half months of the year

Don't get me wrong, I like the cold, but my body just can't take it. If it is cooler than 74, I'm wearing a sweater. I can do without the Houston humidity though....can't stand it hot and muggy!

 

yea me either, I hate where I work cause I have to leave my windows up all year long, getting into a car you could smoke meat in stinks

I hear you! I want the dry heat back. I always feel damp here in the summer.....100 degrees with 100% humidity is no fun, it is killer on the hair, can we say frizzy? LOL
