since we will be in Miami and like me I wont be back there for a long time so I thought about staying an extra day or 2 and head up to Orlando to go to Disney World. I have always wanted to go there and now its my chance to go. I looked up on a map to see about how long it is from South Beach and its about 4 hours away. Not too bad. I was thinking about renting a car or find some other way to get there and see if Darren can get a flight back to NM for me in Orlando. Anyone interested???....

 

Sounds cool, but I went to Disney last month, and drank Mickey under the table, and after that, I got Goofy! If you go there, tell them Kent said Hi.!!

 

Did you hear that when Mickey and Minnie were in divorce court, the judge asked Mickey, "it says here that your reason for divorce is because Minnie is insane?" and Mickey replied "No, I didn't say she was insane, I said she was effing Goofy!".

I don't think I'll do Disney World. I want to soak up the blue water, palm trees and maybe, just maybe, the overseas highway.

 

no go on the Disney. Im going in 2 weeks with GF.

 

I'm not going to be able to hang around in the area, but for those of you who are, I've always enjoyed Epcot Center...

Don't forget, too, that the Kennedy Space Center / Cape Canaveral is just outside of Orlando. For space nuts it might be nice to take a quick look there (when I grew up, even just a satellite was still science fiction, so I really enjoyed poking around there).

Just a heads up...all flights have to be out of Miami....the only control you have is which day you would prefer to leave.

 

I was under the impression that Orlando is like 3 or 4 hours from Miami...

But yeah, Epcot is a better choice unless you have kids with you.
