Everyone who wants to go out as a group on Thursday, post your arrival times here. We can compare everyone's arrival times and plan out a meeting time in the lobby of the hotel so we don't leave anyone stuck in their room alone simply because they don't know anyone.
I arrive in Miami at 2:08pm. I will probably go find the nearest liquor store and grab some party supplies to start the weekend off right!

 

how about we all just chill at he hotel, maybe poolside or something. hit up the local (beverage) store and hang out so we can get a feel for everyone!

I have to double check but I think I get in at 8pm so no poolside for me. let me know the time tho, cuz ill be ready to hit the strip.

 

I was thinking about hitting Abbey Brewery as ScionicMan had suggested. A microbrewery seems like a cool place for everyone to relax and get to know everyone. Abbey Brewery is only about a 1/2 mile from the hotel, so we may actually be able to do both... hit the brewery, have a few flavorful drinks, come back to the hotel, mix up some good quality mixed drinks, margaritas, and such, and just chill. Relaxing poolside with a good drink seems like a good way to get to know the rest of the crew as well. Also, if others still want to hit the clubs Thursday night, most of the clubs down around South Beach don't close until 6am, so the club scene is still doable as well. I figure we all meet up, decide who is going where, and everyone do what they want to do. At least this way, no one is left by themselves.

i wont be gettin in until 8:30PM. I am down to chill at the hotel and check it out since its a bad@$$ hotel! So Im down PHXLOCO!

so that you all know, it is not permitted by the hotel to bring alcohol down to the pool are, but they do serve drinks there and food, however it is pretty expensive, i.e. 12 - 15$ per drink at the pool, i would suggest doing any drinking in your room and then heading out to "maintain" your buzz the rest of the day cheaply . . . or just roll like me and drop like 10 grand while you are there on red bull & vodka, and please please please don't forget the Mojito's while in Miami. It's tradition people!

 

since things don't get started till late in miami we should maybe meet up at the bar in the hotel around 11or 12? i get in at 8 so i'll be at the hotel around 9 shower, shave, head out around 10 for food and drinks!!! who's up for some late food and drinks then the clubs?
