Some nice guy let me borrow is green laser light and I was hoping he is on SL so I can find out how I can purchase one like the one he let me borrow.

a decent green laser pointer will cost you around $80-100..
cheap weak ones can cost as less around $40 and much higher powered ones can be over $300 easy.

you can find them online or at specialty electronics stores.

i guess the only way is to hope that the person who had it sees this thread.

do you remember what it looks like? could probably search for whatever green lasers you can find available and visually match... if the person who had it doesn't reply.

I have seen a video online of green lasers that are powerful enough to pop a ballon that you point it at because of the heat. I can't remember where I saw it but I would check out youtube to find videos. depending on how powerful they are they can cost over 1000. I remember that the website said "if you have to ask why anyone would need a laser that powerful then you probably just won't understand."

Seriously, there was a guy in North Jersey i believe who was sentanced to jail for shining a laser into the eyes of passing pilots. FAA went nuts on his a$$.
