so yeah, i didn't get invited to this event (not that i could've attended anyways being under 21), but hey....

I still got to see the new cars ;)

I was down in miami all weekend for Hot Import Nights. Some of you guys actually stopped by and said hi But anyways, yeah, as you all realized, everything down there on south beach is 21+. I had NOTHING to do friday night, so i went for a walk. after walking the strip, i decided to head over the convention center to see if i could get to my car to grab my camera. I wanted to take some pictures of the strip. Low and behold i walk up to the loading docks and what's sitting there? the fuse, the 5axis xA, the new xB, and the new xD. They were putting the cars onto the scion trailers. i was awestruck that they just left these cars outside unattended though. Needless to say i start walking towards the cars and instantaneously im ambushed by like 5 guys telling me i need to turn around and leave. Not wanting to start anything i kindly do what they ask. But still, the fact remains that I got to see the new cars

if only i had my camera with me instead of leaving it in the car!

 

It is amazing they left them in the open, after all the security we went through. I wonder if anyone else saw them.

 

there were a few cars driving by the loading docks, but to get to the docks you had to drive through a parking lot, and i doubt anyone would look ath far anyways. I didnt see anyone else walking aorund by the convention center.

the xB is NICE. the headlights were nice, and that single reverse (which i got to see lit up, and its the only reason i remember it) was unique. I wasnt feeling the front end on the xD at all though...

I really wish someone else from Central Florida I knew could of went, I felt sorta out of place the entire weekend. Glad the Scion community is so nice!

Hmmm...the peeps around the xD must be a tad more patient. I graced the bumper of it a couple times, no one said a thing.

 

lol you can come lick mine, just make sure you lick all the crud off the undercarraige too, its pretty dirty (been raining here and well what can I say I like watching the water wash up over the roof of the car when hitting mud puddles at 70) they didn't say squat to me for pointing out problems in the paint and things that weren't even mounted up all the way
