Everyone also needs to keep in mind that these flights will be taking place in
potentially poor weather, and many random delays may happen. Just because
someone is scheduled to arrive at 3 PM doesn't mean they will...

Everyone should just bring a piece of paper saying "SCION WINNER". You can either hold it, or tape it on your shirt... that's the best and easiest way to find one another I think.

Uh, Miami airport is huge, and has more than one exit door...

I'll be the guy in a rust red T-shirt with a white xB on the front of it, carrying a bright yellow messenger bag with the Scion logo and "Miami Winner!" in black, and looking just like my avatar.

So far I've arranged to ride with one of the other folks arriving near my time (hopefully) and swapped cell phone numbers with them so we can meet up.

A piece of paper saying Scion Winner in an airport with thousands of rushing passengers just might not be enough.

If we knew more about the airport so we could at least pick a findable landmark to meet up at, it would help, but I have no idea, even, how many taxi waiting areas there might be.

MOSTLY for folks flying ON DIFFERENT FLIGHTS and hoping to meet up - the waits may be longer than scheduled because of winter delays, so having a comfortable area to sit and wait for your taxi partner(s) might come in handy.

As to meet-up points for folks arriving on different airlines and therefore at different terminals: A reasonable meet point MIGHT be near the Food Court Starbucks off the non-secure lobby, area upstairs at "E" if the wait will be more than a few minutes. (Otherwise downstairs in baggage check would be good.)

If anyone is very familiar with the Miami airport, and can offer more assistance on good places to wait for late arrivals to show up, please let me know, OK?

If you swap cell phone numbers with those you are meeting, make sure you turn your cellphone on in the terminal...

I'll be arriving in MIA at 3:06 PM on Thursday afternoon.

I've only been through/in MIA a couple of times, but I believe there are only two domestic concourses. (I forget!) But we could all meet in the lowest gate number for whatever concourse you arrive in.

If you arrive at Gate A-20, then meet at the lowest Concourse A gate number, which is A-3.

And of course, it may also be useful to know which flights everyone is on just before arriving in MIA.

I will be on a Delta plane coming from Atlanta, scheduled to arrive at 3:06 PM. Chances are, there are several other Scion Miami winners on that plane.
