Mine's gone

I have the avatar uploaded somewhere if any of you are interested in putting that back up as your regular avatar.

 

i put in as part of my signature if anyone wants to copy it from me :-)

 

Sciongirl81, I was just reading the rules of the website yesterday and I think it says we can't have graphics there. Just a heads up. I could of misread though, as it wasn't the rule I was looking for. I know I've seen someone with the search button graphic in theres for a very long time and they haven't had any issues.

 

i just put it in their temporarily so people could get it easily....but the super mods can delete it if they want to.

Per chance, were you looking for the rule about avatar size? It's supposed to be 80 X 80 max - your Soup **** is a little tall at 111, isn't he - hmmmmmmm? NO SOUP FOR YOU!

 

Oooh, I thought since it worked uploading, it'd be fine. Bad for me for assuming or not seeing the rule. I'll change it soon. *edited to say that I was right on assuming what I read on the upload avatar page and the accepting of my avatar size. There aren't any specific lengths mentioned*

And I meant, in no way, to be snotty when I mentioned the graphics in the signature. Sorry if it sounded that way LDt.

 

Guess it all depends on how you upload your avatar. If you do it one way, it says nothing about length but when you do it the other way, it does say something. However, it still allowed me to do it in the first place. I think it's still a reasonable mistake, just like someone putting graphics in their signature... especially if the message board allows the code to be recognized.

Off to go look for a new avatar!

 

Don't change it, I was kidding! It was ironic that you were talking about rules, and the avatar is of the guy with the most strict rules on the planet! I thought you would have caught on when I threw in the 'no soup for you'. There are others with oversized avatars too, so I wouln't worry about it.
(I was just going to insert that line from the avatar section on the profile page - you beat me to it.)

 

No... but I am worried about it, lol. On one hand, I thought you were being mean to me and on the other, frantically making sure I'm obeying the rules, lol.

I am going to really stick it to the man by posting the miami winner avatar at the end of every post that I write that way I'm not breaking the rule of actually putting it in my signature (that might last about one or two posts before I get tired of that)
