Hiya all. I read somewhere else that they wanted to know who was going to be traveling alone. I thought it would deserve its own thread. So here it is.

If you are going to Miami alone(like i am) and really know no one. You may feel like me and feel a little left out, or might just feel better about going if you know where to meet people, or whatever else we can offer each other.

So if you are going alone, lets get a list started and hopefully we can all have a great time TOGETHER.

Well, i will be alone, hopefully not for long!

 

I will be going alone but I am hoping to get to know some people on the forums before i go. But yeah I am the only one from NC that I know of.

count me in this group too. I thought about this situation also.. but.. just think of it this way, all 300 of the winners won ONE ticket. theres a few lucky couples that won together and a few ppl from the same club/city/group etc that are flying together.. but that's just a handful out of the 300 winners picked. that leaves the majoity of us who have never been to miami, or even traveled alone. mostly all of us are in the same boat! .. lets go already!

 

Count me in this group also. I do have a sister in Miami though, but we are not very close so I do not think I will spend anytime with her. She is bringing alcohol to me when she picks me up at the airport

I'll be going by myself, too, but it sounds like Darren and some others might have the same flight(s) to Miami as I do...

 

I too will be traveling alone, although I do know a few of the PNW people who have also won, so I will know people there, we could all try to hook up for drinks after we arrive, kind of a get aquanted(?) social at the lounge in the motel.

 

I'm probably gonna be up for something like that... doubt I'll feel like being out walking around after travelling all day.

I'm pretty sure I'll be hanging around the hotel (bar) when my flight gets in.

My friend is going, but I see enough of him ....just kidding.

 

I'm going alone. I'm fine being a loner anyway, I suppose. I don't see many people who are matches for me anway.... non-twenties, a parent, non-partier, non-clubbing, loves to sight see, boring type of person.

If someone wants to eat at some good restaurants, or rent a car and check out the overseas highway on Saturday (I'm leaving on Sun), then that would be cool.

But PNW people... we're sort of planning a late dinner at Emeril's, one of the hotel's restaurants, if you interested.

 

I have a lady from the same area coming also but I don't know how much she parties. Me and I can take it or leave it. Miami is pretty expensive so I was thinking of bringing my own alcohol and/or maybe hitting a bar or something.
Kind of depends on how good the beach and hotel are and if I'm the only out of shape, married chick around. You don't get free drinks at bars once you lose your shape and gain a ring so it might be too expensive for me to do too much! Also I guess I'm pretty boring for a person who sells toys! But I have to go to parties for work so I'm probably just going to chill.

well if get in too late for Emrils, i will probably just hang in the hotel bar the first night. The next day im not sure, hopefully some of us can hook up and get some stuff done before the events start

 

I am going alone but know a few people. Problem is my flight doesnt get in until 2230 Miami time =(
