Scion Ring

I have stuff I'd let go cuz I have more than one, like lots of 1:64 xB's but...
NOT the ring. Where am I going to get another one of those?
not even $1000 is worth selling this ring for. Its more than an object to pawn off, its something that Scion went out of their way to send to us as a reminder of an incredible trip they provided for us.
I'd stay away from re-sizing and find another way to put it to use...
The good part is it fixed up with some low temperature solder. For small fingers you could probably fit a section of another cheap ring inside of it. solder it in and file away the inside smooth until it fits.
I'll only sport mine at Scion events anyway. Too much bling for my taste.
I think they are awesome. The president of SoCal-tC-Club let me see his and it was way nice, I want one so bad! And I have pretty small hands and it fit my middle finger pretty nicely.
I know what our ring is for.

It's a seal ring.
Thanks again to everyone behind the money and time for the Miami event
The ring was just over the top on generosity.
Luggage, cash, air fair, hotel, open bars, great food, awesome event to be a part of.

People don't use wax seals anymore!!
You've got wayyy too much time on your hands, get to modding that box of yours and quit playing with your Scion ring!

UPS Can kiss my big, brown, scion-loving ****.
The bastard UPS driver stole our rings and claimed to have left them on our patio. And now UPS and Malbon Bros. or whatever company that was that sent our rings are giving me the red-tape runaround and giving no help whatsoever.
Bastards.... if I see any "Browns" sporting my got-damned rings, I'm cutting their fingers off. Trust.

Some facts:
1) UPS delivery person claimed that both packages were "Left on Patio"
2) UPS Tracking info indicates that the Packages were dropped off around 3:00 PM
That gives any random "Non-UPS" thief approximately 2 hours to randomly walk by our patio which is on a lightly-traveled pathway that is in clear view of several neighbors' homes, randomly see our packages OVER the wall which is well above eye level from the pathway, so someone has to purposefully look over the wall just to randomly see if there is anything there and decide on the spot to jump over the wall and steal the packages and run off before my wife gets home and let our dogs patrol. Possible, sure, but likely? Only in a fantasy world. We're more likely to die from a jet dumping its lavatory on us from 30,000 feet, than this happening.
3) UPS is instructed to NEVER leave packages anywhere other than our business office which is at the only entry and exit way for our complex which gives them TWO chances to drop it off there. Once on their way in, as they're supposed to do and Twice as they are exiting after finding out that no one was home. That's what it's there for, that's what they're supposed to do and that's what they didn't do. I wonder why.
So regardless of whether it was theft by intention or through negligence, only they are to blame for this.
But hey, if you can convince me that there was no one on the Grassy Knoll, by all means, let's hear your "few other scenarios" I'm open to suggestions. But to me, it's walking like a duck and quacking like a duck.

If anyone else outside of middle earth doesn't want us to write them letters, that's fine. lol ;)
SSM tC, I don't mean to imply that you just randomly blame people but thanks for the sarcastic/mean reply. I did not intend to make you upset with me for questioning you.
There's no way the UPS guy might of left it at the wrong house? Many times a person delivering can mix up a SE/SW, apartment number or a St/Pl/Ave/Dr and not even know it 632 18th Pl SE and 632 18th Pl SW are easy mix ups). This happened MANY a time with delivery drivers.
Maybe the driver just flat out delivered it to a wrong person and address difficulties weren't the problem at all. People do make mistakes... little ones, big ones, medium sized ones...
Are you sure there were no door-to-salesmen/kids who might of seen it? I once accidentally went to a wrong door while delivering pizzas a few years back and stumbled upon a whole mess of packages that I could of easily taken. Children? A pack of teenagers. Some crook who could possibly seen the UPS man deliver the package?
I don't think you can rule any of those out, even if your porch is out in the open.
I guess I don't see your reasonings as hard evidence in the least. I would guess that if the delivery guy had a lot of missing packages on his route, he'd be getting in trouble or something... unless he just had this job and didn't care about losing it and possible criminal charges.
I could probably think of many more reasonable, possible explanations.
Just a difference of opinion/thought process. As a current victim of someone accusing me of stealing, and claiming there was no other possible reason for the item to be missing, other than me and my supposed lack of morals, I'd hate to have this happen to anybody else. BTW, as I told the guy who freaked out on me for stealing his stuff, I solved the mystery for him within 24 hours. There was a different explanation.
There are almost always other possibilities to everything.

All of your scenarios have already been covered by my previous post, so we can end this now and agree to disagree since no amount of text on the forum will change the fact that the rings were stolen. Thanks.
